Hearing Testing FAQs

Yes. We use the Tremetrics RA360 audiometer and follow CSA Z107.6 guidelines to ensure our workplace hearing tests meet national standards.

Yes. All hearing tests are conducted on-site using boothless, portable equipment—ideal for job sites and workplaces across the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland.

We typically require a minimum of 5 employees for on-site hearing testing. For smaller groups, please contact us to discuss options.

Annual hearing tests are recommended for employees exposed to sound levels of 85 dBA or higher, in accordance with CSA standards and occupational health guidelines.

Each test takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes per person, including pre-test screening and documentation.

Ear Impressions & Custom Ear Plugs

Ear impressions are silicone molds taken from the ear canal. These are sent to a lab to create custom-fitted ear plugs designed for maximum comfort and protection.

Anyone exposed to consistent loud noise—especially in construction, industrial, or manufacturing settings—can benefit from custom plugs for better fit, comfort, and compliance.

Yes. We perform custom ear impressions on-site, typically in under 10 minutes per person, with no downtime.

Solid plugs provide maximum noise reduction. Filtered plugs reduce noise while still allowing for communication—ideal for workers who need to hear voice instructions.

Custom ear plugs typically last 3 to 5 years, depending on care, use, and workplace conditions.
