Preparation for Ear Wax Removal

Using a few drops of olive oil or ear softening solution 2–3 days before your appointment may help loosen the wax. If you have a known hole in your eardrum, do not use drops.

Reassure them that the nurse will explain every step and use safe, gentle techniques. The procedure is quick and well-tolerated.

During and After the Procedure

Your nurse will examine your ears, explain the process, and then gently remove the wax using medical instruments under direct vision. You’ll be able to see the results immediately with a before-and-after camera check.

Most clients feel little to no discomfort. If you do feel pressure, it’s brief and well-managed.

Appointments usually take 20–30 minutes.
